Recipe Instructions

For the bun:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut slices of bacon in half. Place three slices next to each other in a vertical row on a sheet pan.
Flap the top of the outer two slices down, then place a slice of bacon horizontally across them.
Flap the bacon back up, then flap up the central slice, and place another horizontal slice in the middle.
Then add the final horizontal slice at the bottom by flapping up the two outer slices.
Repeat this procedure 7 more times.
To cook the bacon, place an inverted non-stick cooling rack over the top to keep the bacon weave flat.
Place in the oven and cook until the bacon begins to brown.
Transfer the bacon weaves to kitchen paper to drain the excess fat.

For the burger:
In a large bowl mix the ground beef and seasonings together.
Divide into 4 equal portions and pat into patties.
Cook on the grill until done.

To assemble:
Place a bacon bun on a plate.
Put a burger patty on top of the bottom bacon bun.
Top with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter.
Place the top bacon bun on top of the peanut butter and serve.
