Recipe Ingredients

{{ multiplier * 1 }} x lb Hot Breakfast Sausage
{{ multiplier * 4 }} x oz Mushrooms, Sliced
{{ multiplier * 1 }} Red Bell Pepper, Diced
{{ multiplier * 1 }} Medium Yellow Onion, Diced
{{ multiplier * 2 }} Garlic Cloves, Minced
{{ multiplier * 10 }} Eggs
{{ multiplier * 1 }} x c Shredded Cheddar Cheese
{{ multiplier * 5 }} x tbsp Grated Parmesan Cheese
{{ multiplier * 3 }} x tbsp Butter
{{ multiplier * 1 }} x tsp Salt
{{ multiplier * 0.5 }} x tsp Pepper

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°.

In a large sauté pan over low-medium heat, add butter, onion, garlic, and salt and pepper.

Cook until onions are caramelized.

While the onions are cooking - In a large skillet, brown the sausage.

Once the sausage is nearly finished cooking, add mushrooms and bell peppers.

Saute 5-10 more minutes.

Mix caramelized onions into meat mixture.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs.

To the eggs, mix in cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese.

In a glass pie dish, pour meat into the bottom of the dish and spread evenly.

Pour egg mixture over the top of the meat.

Use a fork to poke holes down into the meat to allow the eggs to mix just slightly into the meat.

Bake for 30 minutes, until the top is a nice golden brown color.
