Butternut squash is a dense vegetable that takes time to cook, but an air fryer makes quick work of it. Smoked paprika matches the squash's heft, but other spices work here, too, including chili powder and even cinnamon.
Preheat the air fryer to 390ºF (200ºC).
In a large bowl combine the squash, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat.
Add the squash to the basket of the air fryer in an even layer and spray with oil. Bake for ten minutes. Remove, shake the basket and bake for eight to ten minutes longer, until cooked through.
Divide onto plates and enjoy!
