Chocolate-Covered Blueberries

Sure, you can coat nuts with sugar-free chocolate for a keto snack or dessert, but why not take advantage of blueberry season—typically in early and mid-summer—to create a juicy, antioxidant-packed treat that's also relatively low in calories. Sliced almonds add crunch but are totally optional.

Chocolate-covered blueberries

 3 oz sugar-free dark chocolate
 2 cups blueberries
  cup sliced almonds(plus extra for topping)

Line a small baking sheet or plate with parchment paper.

Melt the chocolate in a small bowl in 30-second increments in the microwave or by using a double boiler over the stove.

Add the blueberries and almonds to the chocolate and stir well.

Spread the blueberry mixture over the parchment paper in a single layer. Sprinkle extra almonds on top.

Place in the freezer for at least six hours or overnight. Slice or break apart into pieces. Enjoy!
