Easy Baked Cod with Lemon Butter Sauce

This delicate fish recipe only calls for a handful of ingredients and can be prepared in a matter of minutes. If you're not the biggest fan of fish but you're trying to get more variety in your nutrition plan, the subtly of cod paired with the lemon butter sauce will not disappoint!

Ingredients
 ½ cup melted butter
 4 cloves garlic, minced
 1 lemon, juiced and zested
 1 lemon, sliced
 2 tbsp minced fresh parsley
 salt and pepper, to taste
 4 fillets of cod (6-oz. each)

Preheat oven to 425°F.

In a bowl, combine the butter, garlic, lemon zest and juice, and parsley; season with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the fish in a greased baking dish and pour the lemon butter mixture over the fish and top with fresh lemon slices.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is flaky and cooked through.

Serve the fish topped with fresh parsley and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
