Seafood is a great meal option on the ketogenic diet because it is packed full of protein, low in carbs, and nutrient-dense. This keto lobster tail recipe is no exception. It is packed full of buttery, savory, seafood deliciousness!
Preheat oven to 450°F.
To prepare the lobster tails, use a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the middle of the shell lengthwise down towards to the tail, but do not cut into the tail.
Using a spoon, scoop and lift the meat from the shell. Pull the meat out of the shell and set it on top of the shell.
Cut a line straight down the middle of the lobster meat and gently pull it to each side to create that signature lobster tail look.
In a microwavable safe bowl, combine the butter and seasonings together.
Melt the butter mixture in the microwave and stir until well combined.
Place the lobster tails onto a baking sheet.
Bake for around 15 minutes. The lobster tail should be done, but not rubbery.
In the same microwavable safe bowl as before, combine the butter and garlic salt and microwave until well combined.
Dip your delicious keto lobster tail in the garlic butter sauce and enjoy!
