Mix together all of the dry cookie ingredients until well combined.
In a separate bowl, combine the wet ingredients until well combined.
Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredient bowl, stirring until everything is combined.
Once you obtain a dough-like texture, place the dough onto a sheet of parchment paper.
You have two options for the dough:
1. If you don't have a cookie-cutter, you can roll the dough into a log so that you can easily cut cookie pieces from it once hardened, or
2. Roll out flat onto the parchment paper to later cut with a cookie cutter.
Place the dough in the fridge until hardened (about 1 hour).
Preheat the oven to 350° F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the dough into cookie pieces with the chosen method and place on the lined cookie sheet.
Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes or until slightly firm to the touch.
While allowing the cookies to completely cool, begin preparing the frosting.
Blend all of the creme filling ingredients together until well combined.
