Recipe Instructions

Whisk together 1 egg, buttermilk, Worcestershire, and soy sauce and place sliced onion in the buttermilk mixture to marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to 1 day.

Preheat oven to 375ºF and line a sheet pan with parchment paper; set aside until needed.

Sift together coconut flour, almond flour, and MCT oil powder, parmesan and xanthan gum in a small bowl, then whisk together remaining egg and half & half in another small bowl.

To prepare, remove onion from buttermilk mixture, dip in half & half mixture, then toss in flour mixture; place on parchment line sheet pan and repeat until all onions are used.

Coat onion rings in remaining parmesan, place in the oven to bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, remove from oven and serve immediately.
