These turkey meatballs contain cilantro, onion, and minced garlic for lots of flavor, and putting them on skewers is a fun way to make cooking easier. Our recipe calls for pan-frying the skewered meatballs in a cast-iron pan, but feel free to cook them on a wood or gas grill for extra flavor.
Mix the ground turkey, cilantro, white onion, garlic, and salt together in a bowl. Form the meat mixture into balls approximately two inches in diameter.
Thread the meatballs and red onion onto the skewers.
Heat the oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the skewers for about four to five minutes per side or until cooked through.
Divide the skewers between plates and enjoy!
