Bio

Charlie Ottinger is the Content Manager for The Muscle PhD and Generation Iron Plus. Charlie is currently working on his PhD in Human Performance and has a Master's degree in Kinesiology and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Before joining the research side of the field, Charlie was a strength and conditioning coach in both the collegiate and private sector. Charlie's specialties include strength training for muscle growth and performance as well as nutrition strategies to optimize strength training adaptations and body composition.
