Eggs in a basket are made with a baked or fried egg stuffed into an avocado. This simple eggs in a basket recipe is packed full of healthy fats and proteins, but low in carbs making it the perfect keto breakfast meal!

 ½ tsp garlic powder
 ½ tsp onion powder

Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Place the halved avocados on the sheet pan and season with the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and hot sauce. Par-bake for 10 minutes.

Remove the par-baked avocados from the oven and crack an egg into each half. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes for solid whites and medium-cooked yolks, or longer if you prefer yolks that are set.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Serve with additional hot sauce, if desired. Store your eggs in a basket in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
