You can’t go wrong with a classic BLT salad, probably because of bacon bacon bacon! Bacon is deliciously crispy cooked in the air fryer. Spruce up your BLT salad with a unique dressing made with sesame oil, mustard, toasted sesame seeds, and the perfect blend of herbs and spices. A zesty sesame mustard dressing is a nod to Asian cuisine with a tangy sauce and a hint of ginger. This recipe makes a large family-size dressing you can keep in the fridge for up to five days! You can even use it as a sauce for other dishes! If you’d like to prepare less salad dressing, just halve the measurements for the dressing.

Cut or chop bacon into 1-inch small squares or strips using scissors or a knife.
Preheat a skillet over medium heat and set aside for the sesame seeds.
Cook the bacon in a skillet or in the air fryer.
Note: If cooking in an air fryer fry at 400°F for 12-16 minutes (turn the bacon over at least once for crispiness on all sides and even cooking).
While your bacon cooks, toast the sesame seeds in a preheated nonstick skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes and set aside (enjoy the aroma of toasting these tasty little seeds!)
To make the dressing, add the olive oil, sesame oil, balsamic vinaigrette, lemon juice, and mustard to a mixing bowl and stir.
Add the toasted sesame seeds, ginger, dill, parsley, and salt and pepper to the bowl and mix the dressing together.
Chop the onion and tomato into small pieces and set aside.
Use another mixing bowl to mix the greens, tomato, onion, and pumpkin seeds OR
Arrange the salad greens on four plates and add the tomato, onion, and pumpkin seeds on top.
Remove bacon from the air fryer or skillet and add to the salad.
