I’ve been into fitness since I was 17 in a high school aerobics PE class. I’d never had an issue with weight until after competing in the NPC in 2013/2014 my weight rebounded hard and I ended up 30 lbs. over the normal weight, I carried around for 20 years. For almost 3 years I tried and tried to get the weight off with HARD workouts and low-calorie dieting. It never seemed to work more than getting 5 lbs. off. I finally got tired of losing and gaining the same 5 lbs. and decided to go keto. I’d sort of done it before as the Atkins diet and it worked for me, so I knew what to do! I’m back in all my “smaller” clothes and feel as confident and better than ever! #ketorocks
What is the best advice you would give someone looking to transform their life on keto?
Don’t cheat, even a little bit while actively trying to lose. It sets you back so far!
What is your favorite part of being keto?
Not feeling bloated and sluggish anymore! Being in control of my body.
