Believing in “cheat” days. I learned the hard way with my schizophrenic brother’s diet.

5:2 fasting allows days without food preparation or clean-up (also, reduced food consumption by 33% means you can eat only great food).
Best tip for newbies?
Patience. It’s not a sprint. Keep a log for a couple of days to really know what you’re eating.
If there is one thing that you could tell yourself when first getting started, what would it be and why?
Ketosis is the normal state. Get the keto glucose meter early on.
