  cup bacon cut into small strips
 ½ cup low carb beer (Michelob Ultra is a good option)
 ¼ cup sugar-free syrup
 1 tsp black pepper
 ½ tsp smoked paprika
 1 medium onion, diced
 3 cloves of garlic, minced

In a large, non-stick saucepan over medium heat, cook bacon until golden. Remove and get rid of the fat in the saucepan, leaving only about 1 tbsp.

Over love heat, saute onions in bacon fat until golden. Add garlic and saute for another 2 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for another 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often.

Remove from heat and let cool for about 10 minutes, then use a food processor to blend all the ingredients and create a paste consistency.
