Don't fret about having to give up crispy, salty, tasty french fries because you're on the ketogenic diet. These keto jicama fries taste like the real-potato alternative, but without all of the carbs. Make this recipe either in the oven or for an extra crispy fry, try making them in an air fryer.
You can customize the seasonings on these keto jicama fries to your own taste! Try adding cajun seasoning, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan, or even melted cheese to create a keto french fry creation all your own.

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and spray a baking sheet with oil spray (or grease with butter or olive oil).

Rinse, peel, and cut the jicama into ~1/2 inch thick fry pieces.

Spread out the keto jicama fries on the baking sheet so that no pieces are overlapping.

Drizzle the olive oil onto the jicama fries and then top with your seasonings.

Cook in the oven for 30 minutes and then flip the keto jicama fries.

  1. The thinner the jicama fries are the faster they will cook, and keep in mind that you want them soft on the inside but crispy on the outside. After about 30-40 minutes in the oven, they should be pretty crispy. However, if these keto french fries are not crispy enough for your liking then go ahead and broil them for about 5 minutes.
